Greater Noida West: Tension flared up at Supertech Ecovillage-1 on Tuesday when hundreds of maintenance staff, including security guards and housekeeping workers, staged a sit-in protest at Gate No. 1 of the society. The protesting employees alleged that they have not been paid their salaries for the last two months.

According to the workers, the society’s maintenance had been managed by Gravity Agency for the past nine months. However, the agency suddenly withdrew a few days ago, allegedly leaving without clearing two months of pending wages. The maintenance contract has now been handed over to YG Estate.

The agitating staff questioned why the IRP (Insolvency Resolution Professional) did not ensure their dues were cleared before the agency’s exit. Many employees said that the delay in payment has created a severe financial crisis, leaving them struggling to manage household expenses.

The protesting workers have appealed to the Supertech IRP to intervene immediately and release their pending salaries so they can support their families.
