CBSE Class 12 Accountancy answer book pattern revised, check notice here



NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important changes in the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy answer book pattern. The Commerce stream students shall note that the change will be applicable from the board examinations 2024.
The Board released a notice to Principals of CBSE-affiliated schools, informing them about the discontinuation of answer books containing printed tables for the Accountancy subject. Starting from the 2024 board exams, the Class 12th answer sheets for Accountancy will align with the format used in other subjects.
“It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024 CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lines Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class XII will be provided in Accountancy subject also,” reads the official notice.CBSE Board Exams 2024
The CBSE had announced that it will conduct Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 starting February 15, 2024. As per the announcement made by CBSE Controller of Examinations, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board examinations will begin on February 15 and are expected to be held for approximately 55 days, ending on April 10, 2024.
For Class 10, the CBSE exams 2024 will tentatively be conducted from February 15 to March 21, 2024, while Class 12 exams are scheduled from February 17 to April 10, 2024. Additionally, CBSE practical exams 2024 for both Class 10 & 12 are tentatively scheduled to be conducted from January 2 to February 14, 2024.
CBSE 12th Accountancy exam 2024 will carry 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for project/assignment. The Class 12 Accountancy question paper comprises 34 questions split into two parts. All questions in Part A are compulsory and Part B has two options – analysis of financial statements and computerised accounting.
