Ghaziabad: In a survey conducted by the Malaria Department, dengue larvae were found at 55 places in Govindpuram, Sanjay Nagar, Vijay Nagar and Land Craft. In the Dastak campaign of the Infectious Disease Control Campaign, dengue larvae are being found at 50 to 55 places every day. The survey has revealed that dengue larvae are being found in coolers in old colonies, while larvae have been confirmed in pots in high-rise societies.
Gyanendra Mishra, District Malaria Officer says, “In the door-to-door survey started under Dastak in the Communicable Disease Control Campaign, dengue larvae were found at a total of 55 places. In this, larvae were found in coolers in B and C blocks of Vijay Nagar, Govindpuram, government housing in Sanjay Nagar Sector-23, while dengue larvae were found in pots at 12 different places in high-rise societies.”
Dengue larvae have been found in broken vessels on the roof
The team of the Malaria Department has warned all the concerned landowners and instructed them to prevent waterlogging again. Anti-larva spray has also been done in these areas. Apart from coolers, pots and water vessels for birds, dengue larvae have been found in broken vessels on the roof. If larvae are found on re-examination after 15 days, a notice will be issued against the concerned person and a fine will be imposed.

Pratap Vihar Sector-11, Siddharth Vihar-2, Rahul Vihar, Dundahera, Bagu, Christian Nagar, Mirzapur, Kaila Bhatta, Deendayalupuri, Sevanagar, Maliwada, Gagan Vihar, Krishna Nagar, Lal Quarter, Lohia Nagar, Sarvodaya Nagar, Sundarpuri, Udalnagar, Daulatpura, Nasirpur Phatak and Mahindra Enclave, Jhandapur, Karhera and Kanawani like areas have been declared sensitive.
