Noida : On 12th October 2025, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi witnessed an extraordinary celebration of courage, determination, and inclusion. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2025 became more than just a race—it became a stage for inspiration as the Eagle Specially Abled Riders, proudly sponsored by Caner Electric Connection, participated with unmatched zeal.
The event saw the esteemed presence of Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, and Dr. Mahantesh Kivadassannavar, founder of Support Trust for the Disabled, who cheered on the participants and highlighted the importance of inclusion for persons with disabilities.
Speaking at the event, Ashish Agrawal, proprietor of Caner Electric Connection, emphasized a vital message: often, families inadvertently leave behind their differently-abled members during outings or celebrations, believing them to be dependent.
We want to change that perception, if given an opportunity, differently-abled individuals can showcase immense talent and resilience.

Over 80 participants from the Eagle Specially Abled Riders came together, proving exactly that. They ran, laughed, supported one another, and reminded everyone that disability does not mean inability. What began as a marathon evolved into a powerful movement—where people, regardless of physical limitations, run together to break barriers.
The journey of the Eagle Specially Abled Riders goes beyond marathons. During the devastating waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, they played a crucial role in supporting the differently-abled community and have been recognized nationally and internationally for their efforts. Prestigious awards from Star Sports, NDTV, News18, Hyundai Motor India, Dr. Batra Positive Health Award, and honors from Nepal and the Republic of Ghana underscore their commitment to humanity and service.
For these riders, a race is never just a race—it is a testament to courage, camaraderie, and inclusion. They remind us that with opportunity and encouragement, no barrier is insurmountable.
