Bar Council Exam 2023: AIBE 18 admit card expected to release soon; Here’s how to download



The Bar Council of India (BCI) is set to release the admit card for the All India Bar Examination shortly.
The AIBE 18 test is scheduled to take place on October 20, 2023.
Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download the admit cards once they are released on the official website- allindiabarexamination.com.
Here are step-by-step instructions for downloading the AIBE 18 Admit Card 2023
Step 1: Go to the official website by visiting allindiabarexamination.com.
Step 2: Look for the ‘AIBE XVII Admit Card 2023’ link on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials as required for accessing the admit card.
Step 4: Once you’ve entered the credentials, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Review all the details on the admit card carefully and then proceed to download it.
Step 6: It is advisable to keep multiple hard copies of the admit card for exam purposes and as a backup.
After successfully downloading the admit card, the candidate should check for any discrepancies in their admit cards, and notify the examination authority for any necessary changes that need to be made. Candidates should check for the following details:

  • Full name
  • Roll number
  • Photograph and signature
  • Reserved category
  • Date and Timings of Exam
  • Exam Venue
  • Exam Hall Guidelines

On the day of the exam, candidates must ensure that they carry any government-issued photo identity card which can be Voter ID card, Passport, Driver’s License or Aadhaar Card. In addition to this, candidates would also be required to produce an Advocate enrolment ID with State Bar Council.
AIBE 18 exam is the 18th edition of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), which is a mandatory examination for law graduates who wish to practice law in India. It is conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) to assess the candidates’ knowledge and skills in the basic principles and practice of law.
The AIBE 18 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) of 3 hours duration, consisting of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The syllabus of the exam covers a wide range of topics, including constitutional law, civil law, criminal law, procedural law, and professional ethics.
Candidates who qualify the AIBE 18 exam will be awarded a Certificate of Practice (COP) by the BCI. The COP is a mandatory requirement for practicing law in India.
