Noida: The case of poor-quality ice cream in Noida has gained momentum. On one hand, the woman is claiming that when she ordered ice cream, a centipede was found inside it, while Amul company is clearly denying this. For investigation, the team of Amul company reached the woman’s house and asked her to show the sample. Amul claims that the box was refused to be shown and the team had to return, while the woman called it a complete lie. She said that the box was given when asked. Amul has explained its side on this matter by putting a long post on Twitter.
The woman said the company is suppressing the matter
Deepa, who lives in Noida, said that on Monday morning a team from Amul company reached her house. They started asking about the box but their intention was to take away the ice cream box. Deepa said that I had just spoken to Vivek Srivastava of Sector 24 on the phone. He says that if the complaint has reached the food department, then it is not necessary to send it to us. The food department team says that they have issued the challan. Now the matter is about such a big company. To suppress the matter, Amul company has already taken samples from the front and is posting on Twitter that samples were refused. They claim that recordings and photos may be fake. Deepa says that Amul has refused to take responsibility.
What did Amul say?
Amul posted on Twitter that on June 15, 2024, Smt. Deepa Devi, a resident of Noida, complained on social media about seeing an unknown thing on the lid of an Amul ice cream box. Amul responded immediately and at 3:43 pm they got the customer’s number. Deepa is the CEO of Ujjwal Unnati Foundation and has more than 26,000 Facebook followers. Amul expressed regret for the incident. They were constantly trying to contact her. At 9:30 pm, permission was granted to meet her. In the conversation, Amul talked about its ISO-certified plants and quality processes. He also invited Mrs. Deepa to visit the plant.
Will investigate once the box is found
Amul asked for the ice cream box for which complaint was made to investigate it but Mrs. Deepa refused to give it. The company said that until the box is found, a detailed investigation cannot be done. Amul asked customers to keep faith in its products. It sells 22 billion packs annually with high-quality standards. They will investigate once the box is found.
