Noida: Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Excellence in Skill-Based & Value-Driven Learning’ award for its contribution to skill-based and value-driven  education. The award was presented during the Times Now Education Summit 2026, held at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi. The award was received on behalf of IMS Noida by Professor Dr Vartika Chaturvedi, Dean, IMS Noida, and Lokesh Vashisth.

Focus on practical learning and industry readiness

Commenting on the recognition, Chirag Gupta, vice president, IMS Noida, said that education today must prepare students not only with knowledge but also with the ability to apply that knowledge meaningfully in the real world.

He said IMS Noida focuses on creating a learning environment where academic rigour is complemented by practical exposure, skill development and strong values. He added that the recognition acknowledges the collective efforts of the faculty, students and the entire IMS Noida community.

Gupta said the award would further motivate the institution to continue evolving its learning practices in line with the changing requirements of students and industry.

Recognition reflects continued efforts towards quality education

Lokesh Vashisth said Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Minister Ashish Patel presented the award to IMS Noida.

He said the recognition reflects the institution’s continued efforts to provide students with quality education along with practical knowledge, skill development and strong ethical values.

According to Vashisth, the institution places special emphasis on technical proficiency, leadership capabilities and practical training to prepare students for the evolving requirements of the industry.

IMS Noida emphasises employability and personality development

Professor Dr Vartika Chaturvedi said IMS Noida focuses not only on the academic development of students but also provides them with opportunities to develop employability skills, practical knowledge, industry exposure and personality development.

She said the institution aims to prepare students to meet changing industry requirements and equip them to face future challenges with confidence.

Chaturvedi added that the recognition further strengthens IMS Noida’s commitment to skill-based, quality and value-driven education. She said the achievement reflects the sustained efforts of students, faculty members and the entire IMS family.

The institution said it will continue to focus on providing students with the skills, practical exposure and learning opportunities required to build successful careers.
