Noida: The School of IT at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida, organised Glam N Geek 2026 to welcome its newly admitted students. The event featured dance performances, stage presentations, talent showcases, a question-and-answer competition, and musical performances, giving students a chance to showcase their talent, creativity, and confidence.
The enthusiastic participation of the freshers created a lively and celebratory atmosphere throughout the event.
Students were encouraged to develop skills and confidence
Dr Monika Dixit Bajpai, head of the School of IT, inaugurated the programme. She encouraged students to remain alert, capable and focused on developing their skills.
Addressing the students, she said there is no shortcut to success and that the academic progress and overall development of students remain among the institution’s key priorities. She added that the institute continues to work towards providing students with opportunities at the global level while helping them develop their personalities and professional skills.
Multiple rounds organised to showcase talent
Event coordinator Anushrav Mudgal said that Glam N Geek 2026 featured multiple rounds designed to give students an opportunity to demonstrate their talent and creativity.
Students participated in different rounds, including dance, stage performances, talent showcases and question-and-answer sessions. Following the various rounds, students who delivered outstanding performances were selected for the final titles.
Winners announced in BCA and MCA categories
In the BCA category, Dev Dutt was named Mr Glam N Geek, while Kritika won the title of Miss Glam N Geek.
In the MCA category, Parlav Chauhan was named Mr Glam N Geek, while Sheena Gurung was awarded the title of Miss Glam N Geek.
The performances by students received an enthusiastic response from the audience. With music, dance and a variety of talent showcases, Glam N Geek 2026 provided the new students with a memorable and energetic start to their college journey.
