Such educational visits provide students with an opportunity to understand the past, connect it with the present and develop a more informed perspective towards the future.
Dean of IMS DIA, Professor Dr M.K.V. Nair, said the visit was organised to give design students an opportunity to understand their subjects through direct observation and experience beyond textbook learning. He said historical sites help students connect with India’s rich traditions of history, art and architecture.
