Football players to showcase their skills, winning team to receive a prize
Noida: The four-day District Play Creators League commenced on Thursday at IMS Noida in Sector 62. The football tournament, being held from September 17 to 20, will provide players an opportunity to showcase their sporting talent, teamwork and competitive spirit.
The tournament will feature a total of 15 matches, with the semi-finals and final scheduled to be played on the concluding day. The league is being organised in a 7-a-side format, with four matches scheduled to be played each day.
The initiative aims to provide young footballers with a platform to demonstrate their abilities while encouraging discipline, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit among participants.
IMS Noida vice president Chirag Gupta said the District Play Creators League is providing young players with an important opportunity to develop their sporting abilities and perform on a larger platform. He said such events help strengthen confidence, discipline and team spirit among players.
Gupta added that all participating teams are expected to compete with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. He said the semi-final and final matches on the concluding day will give players an important opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities.
The four-day tournament is also expected to generate enthusiasm among football enthusiasts. Players will take to the field with the aim of putting up a strong performance and helping their respective teams secure victory.
The competition will conclude on September 20.
