
Noida: The Community Centre in Sector 21 came alive with the spirit of Sawan and Teej as the JVCC Laughter Club celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration was marked by colourful traditional attire, cultural performances, beautifully decorated swings and traditional delicacies.
Women members dressed in vibrant outfits and adorned their hands with intricate mehndi designs, adding to the festive atmosphere. A cultural programme presented by the members kept everyone entertained and was appreciated by the audience.
One of the major highlights of the celebration was a group dance performance by Madhu, Manju and Neelam on the popular Bollywood song “Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke”. Their energetic performance received a warm response and added to the lively atmosphere of the event.
The women also enjoyed specially decorated swings arranged for the occasion, bringing back the traditional charm associated with the Sawan and Teej festivities. The pleasant weather further added to the celebrations as members spent time together enjoying the festive gathering.
No Teej celebration is complete without traditional delicacies, and the members relished ghewar served with hot tea, making the occasion even more enjoyable.
