IMS Noida Celebrates Bharat Raksha Parv 2026, Students Send Rakhis and Messages to Soldiers

Noida: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, IMS Noida organised a special programme under Dainik Jagran’s national campaign ‘Bharat Raksha Parv 2026’, celebrating the spirit of patriotism and gratitude towards India’s armed forces.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members and dignitaries, highlighting the importance of honouring soldiers who safeguard the nation’s borders.

Former Army Officer Motivates Students

The keynote address was delivered by Colonel Suresh Kumar Srivastava, a senior retired officer of the Indian Army, who shared inspiring stories about the courage, discipline, leadership and sacrifices of Indian soldiers.

Addressing the students, he said that soldiers protect the country’s borders under the most challenging conditions and urged young people to understand their responsibilities towards the nation. He also encouraged students to express gratitude to the armed forces on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Students Send Rakhis and Emotional Messages to Soldiers

As part of the programme, girl students of IMS Noida prepared beautifully crafted rakhis dedicated to soldiers serving on the country’s borders.

Along with the rakhis, students wrote heartfelt letters and messages expressing their love, respect and gratitude for the brave men protecting the nation. These rakhis and messages will be sent to soldiers through Dainik Jagran’s Bharat Raksha Parv 2026 campaign.

Institution Highlights Importance of Patriotism

Chirag Gupta, Vice President of IMS Noida, said that honouring soldiers who dedicate their lives to protecting the nation is the responsibility of every citizen. He added that such initiatives strengthen the spirit of patriotism and social responsibility among young people.

Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Sharma, Advisor at IMS Noida, said that education is not limited to imparting knowledge but also aims to instil values of nation-building among students. He noted that such programmes inspire youth to embrace patriotism, discipline and a sense of service.

Dr. Vartika Chaturvedi, Dean Management and CRC, said that introducing the younger generation to the sacrifices and dedication of the armed forces is the need of the hour. She added that programmes like Bharat Raksha Parv help shape responsible, compassionate and socially aware citizens.

The event concluded with students reaffirming their respect and appreciation for the country’s armed forces, making Raksha Bandhan a meaningful celebration of the bond between citizens and the soldiers who protect the nation.
