New Delhi: A day after reports of lathi charge and tear-gas shelling during demonstrations, Jantar Mantar witnessed a remarkable display of public solidarity on Tuesday. Citizens, volunteers and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) gathered at the historic protest site, bringing food, water, and essential supplies for those participating in the ongoing protest.

Volunteers Step Forward to Support Protesters

Makeshift distribution counters were set up across the protest venue, where volunteers served a variety of food items including biscuits, pizza, burgers, fresh fruits, juice, bottled water and plates of rajma chawal. The continuous supply of refreshments helped sustain protesters who had remained at the site for long hours.
