Greater Noida: A large sinkhole has reportedly developed near the roundabout outside Father Agnel School in Greater Noida, raising serious concerns about commuter safety.
Residents have warned that if immediate repairs are not carried out, the damaged stretch could lead to a major road accident. No recent official update confirming repair work was found.
Residents Fear a Major Accident
According to information shared by resident Kuldeep Sharma, the crater has emerged on a busy road frequently used by school buses, office commuters and two-wheelers. The damaged portion of the road poses a significant risk, particularly during the monsoon when waterlogging can conceal its depth.
Residents have urged the Greater Noida Authority and the concerned civic departments to inspect the site immediately, barricade the affected area and undertake urgent repair work to prevent any untoward incident.

Citizens have appealed to the authorities to treat the issue on priority, stating that timely intervention could prevent a serious accident and ensure the safety of thousands of daily commuters passing through the area.
