
Greater Noida: Residents of Beta 1 sector may soon see improvements in their neighbourhood parks as officials from the Greater Noida Authority conducted an on-ground inspection on Tuesday. The inspection was led by DGM SK Jain from the authority’s horticulture department, along with RWA representatives, including president Sangeeta Sharma, general secretary Harendra Bhati, vice president Rajbir Singh, supervisor Chaman Nagar and contractor Ajay Sisodiya.
Damaged gym equipment in the B block park raises concerns
During the visit, officials inspected multiple parks across Beta 1, with particular attention to the B block park, where the outdoor gym equipment was found in a damaged condition. Residents had raised concerns over the safety and usability of the gym. Officials assured that repair work for the gym will be taken up soon, providing relief to residents who regularly use the facility.
Broken footpaths and maintenance issues flagged
Another major issue highlighted during the inspection was the poor condition of footpaths across parks in the sector. Officials acknowledged the concern and confirmed that repair work will begin soon.
Grass cutting and watering work underway
Authorities informed that maintenance work across parks is already in progress. Grass cutting is being carried out and watering of plants is being ensured regularly.
More upgrades planned for parks
Apart from immediate repairs, officials also assured that additional works such as fixing damaged structures and planting new grass will be undertaken to improve the overall condition of parks in beta 1. The inspection comes amid increasing demands from residents for better upkeep of public spaces, with authorities now promising time-bound action on key issues.
