Noida: Residents of Sector 51 have been continuously raising complaints regarding the daily nuisance caused by loud DJ music being played on vehicles moving through the sector roads. According to residents, DJs are being operated at full volume during the daytime, causing severe disturbance, stress and inconvenience to families, senior citizens and children.
To address the issue, a meeting was held with senior police officials. During the meeting, residents clearly highlighted the problem and demanded strict action against those violating noise pollution norms. The police officials assured the residents that they would extend full cooperation and take necessary steps to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Residents emphasised that DJs mounted on vehicles and playing at full sound levels should be immediately stopped. They demanded strict challans and heavy fines against violators so that a strong message is sent and such incidents do not repeat in the future.
It was also pointed out that contact numbers are often written on these DJ vehicles, making it easy to identify the operators. Residents have urged the police to take prompt action against these vehicles to curb noise pollution and restore peace in the sector.
The local community hopes that timely and strict enforcement will help put an end to this ongoing problem and ensure a peaceful living environment for all residents of Sector 51.
