Greater Noida West: In a major relief for homebuyers, the Allahabad High Court has cleared the long-pending path for property registry at Devika Gold Homes Society, located in Greater Noida West. The Court has issued clear directions to the Greater Noida Authority and the builder to ensure completion of the registry within three months.
The matter reached the High Court following a petition filed in December by residents of the society, under the leadership of Deepak Dubey. After hearing the case, the Hon’ble High Court delivered a landmark judgment in favor of the residents, bringing long-awaited relief to hundreds of families living in the society.
Following the court’s order, a wave of happiness has spread among the residents.
All homebuyers have paid the full amount to the builder and have been residing in the society for the past six years. Despite repeated letters and representations to the authority and the builder, neither have we received all amenities as promised in the approved layout and brochure, nor has the registry process been completed.

He further questioned why homebuyers should suffer if the builder has failed to clear dues with the authority.
Due to the nexus between authorities and builders, lakhs of buyers in hundreds of societies across Gautam Buddh Nagar are trapped without registry. In such a situation, this decision of the Hon’ble High Court gives immense satisfaction and renewed hope to all affected buyers.

Advocate Santosh Kumar Singh, who represented the residents in the High Court, said that the judgment has been delivered in light of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s verdict dated December 16. He described the ruling as historic, stating that it would provide major relief for lakhs of homebuyers in the coming times.
Overall, the Allahabad High Court’s order is being seen as a precedent-setting decision that may open legal pathways for numerous stalled housing societies in Gautam Buddh Nagar, reinforcing the rights of homebuyers and holding authorities and builders accountable.
