
New Delhi: Leading solar PV module manufacturer Joint Solar has been honoured with the Excellence in Renewable Energy Award for its significant contribution to India’s clean energy transition and its strong commitment to the Make in India initiative. The award was presented to Vinod Sharma, Director, Joint Solar, by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.
The recognition was conferred during a national-level programme focused on the vision of Developed India 2047 and India’s growth journey. The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders and experts to deliberate on nation-building, economic self-reliance, technological innovation and the expanding role of renewable energy in shaping India’s future.
Joint Solar was particularly acknowledged for its contribution to indigenous solar panel manufacturing and its initiatives aimed at youth skill development through plant visits and learning programmes. These efforts were described as important steps towards strengthening India’s renewable energy ecosystem.
