Greater Noida: In a major relief for residents, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority’s Horticulture Department, along with the contractor team, installed 30 new benches across various parks in Sector Beta-1. The authority has confirmed that more benches will be added in the coming days to ensure adequate seating arrangements in all parks of the sector.
Residents and the RWA of Sector Beta-1 expressed heartfelt gratitude to GNIDA CEO N. G. Ravi Kumar, ACEO Sri Lakshmi V.S., Horticulture Department’s DGM S. K. Jain and Health Department’s Assistant Manager Gaurav Baghel, for promptly addressing the long-pending demand of replacing the broken benches.
For several months, RWA office-bearers had been informing officials about the damaged and unsafe benches in the parks. Acting on these repeated requests, the authority finally initiated the installation process, leading to visible improvement today.
RWA President Sangeeta Sharma and General Secretary Harendra Bhati said that development work across Sector Beta-1 is being carried out steadily to improve cleanliness, convenience, and the overall appearance of the sector. They also assured that wherever additional benches are required, the authority will ensure proper installation.
Several residents and RWA members were present at the site during the installation, including Dr. Sheetla, Prasad, President Sangeeta Sharma, General Secretary Harendra Bhati, Vinod Kasana, Treasurer Adv.
