Greater Noida West : Residents of Radicon Vedantam society in Greater Noida West staged a protest outside the maintenance office on Tuesday, voicing anger over the lack of basic amenities like lifts and water supply.
Residents are shouting from many years that thousands of rupees are collected every month as maintenance fees, but services are almost non-existent. Several lifts have been non-functional for weeks, the water supply is irregular, and parks, jogging tracks and green areas are in poor condition. Cleaning staff are rarely seen.
The maintenance office doors are closed, and complaints go unheard. If we pay, we expect services.

If the situation doesn’t improve, we will stop paying maintenance charges. The builder and maintenance team keep blaming each other.

Residents warned that if the issues are not resolved within 15 days, they will file complaints with the Noida Authority and Consumer Forum, and may also take collective legal action.
The society has faced similar issues in the past, including lift failures and water shortages. The problems affect everyone from elderly residents, women and children alike. Residents have appealed to the authorities to intervene and conduct a physical survey of the society to assess the real situation.
