Noida, India : RG Residency resident and eminent researcher Dr. Archana Tiwari has brought laurels to the city by being featured in Stanford University’s prestigious list of the Top 2% Scientists for 2025. The recognition was proudly announced by the Diatom Research Laboratory, which credited Dr. Tiwari’s relentless dedication, discipline and passion for research as the driving force behind this achievement.

Currently serving as a Professor at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida, Dr. Tiwari is a distinguished academic with a PhD from the University of Allahabad, where she earned a gold medal and several honors.

Her research expertise lies in wastewater treatment and the phycoprospecting of diatoms for high-value products. Over her career, she has published 125 research papers, 4 patents, 14 books, and 50 book chapters, earning over 3,230 citations with an h-index of 31.

Dr. Tiwari’s exceptional contributions have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including:

Researcher of the Year Award (2015) by Noida International University
Prestigious Scientist Award (2016) by the Society for Recent Development in Agriculture
Women Scientist Award (2021) by Biotech Research Society, India
