Greater Noida West: Thousands of distressed and aggrieved flat buyers of the Ecovillage 2 project have come together with a unified message: they now trust only one entity: NBCC (India) Ltd., a government construction agency.
Buyers have firmly declared that they have completely lost faith in Supertech and its associate Apex Heights Private Limited, and they demand that the project be handed over to NBCC so that their long-delayed dream homes can finally be completed.
Demand for Implementation of NCLAT Order
In a public statement issued by the EcoVillage 2 Welfare Association, it was reiterated that the NCLAT order dated 12 December 2024, which directed the transfer of the project to NBCC, must be implemented without any further delay.
Buyers state that any further postponement will be a grave injustice to thousands of families who have already suffered enough.
15 Years of incomplete promises and shattered trust
The project began back in 2010. Most buyers are middle-class families who have invested their life savings in this project. Among them is Mohan Lal Sinha, the current President of the Ecovillage 2 Welfare Association.
I booked my flat in 2012, and possession was promised by 2015. It is now 2025, and I’m still paying both rent and EMI. I am not alone, thousands of families are going through the same trauma.

Monitoring team’s clear stand – ‘NBCC is the only option’
The Association’s monitoring team and several active members had earlier warned that engaging any associate of Supertech for construction would neither be practical nor in the interest of the buyers. Only NBCC is seen as capable of completing this long-stalled project with technical integrity, legal backing, and financial transparency.
The Association has engaged with over 3,000 buyers directly, and more than 95% clearly stated:
‘We want only NBCC — it is our last and only hope’ – Residents
Supreme Court Hearing Scheduled for August 13
The EcoVillage 2 Welfare Association, through Senior Advocate M.L. Lahoti, will present the buyers’ case before the Supreme Court on 13 August 2025. It is expected that the apex court will take decisive steps to expedite the process of handing over the project to NBCC.
Why Apex Heights is not trustworthy
Buyers have cited multiple facts and figures to show that Apex Heights Private Limited is completely incapable of completing this massive project:
Paid-up Capital: ₹45.10 lakh
Net Worth: ₹2.39 crore
Cash Balance: ₹2.66 crore
How can such a financially weak company complete a ₹10,000 crore project?
Liabilities exceeding ₹700 crore
Dubious ‘Receivables’ worth ₹579 crore
No previous experience, no active construction sites
Allegedly a “rebranded arm of Supertech” — according to buyers
Claims of Crores in Funding — All an Illusion
Apex Heights has claimed to have crores in funding, but:
No bank guarantees
No valid MoUs
No financial approvals or confirmations
Just empty promises in the media and meetings
Why NBCC is Reliable
NBCC (India) Ltd. is a government-owned enterprise — driven by responsibility, not profit
Completed large-scale incomplete projects like Amrapali and Jaypee
Equipped with:
Expert technical team
Government backing
Transparent systems
Trust of courts and buyers
NCLAT has already assigned 16 stalled projects to NBCC, including EcoVillage 2
Time for Action – “No More Betrayal”
EcoVillage 2 Welfare Association and its thousands of buyers have placed three key demands:
- Transfer the project to NBCC as per the NCLAT order dated 12 December 2024
- Remove Supertech and Apex Heights entirely from the project
- Restart construction in a time-bound and transparent manner
