Noida : On the occasion of World Conservation Day, Samvedna Foundation organized a tree plantation and sparrow conservation awareness program at Children’s Park, Sector-33, Noida. The event aimed to spread awareness about environmental protection and to inspire the younger generation to connect deeply with nature.

The event witnessed the participation of several distinguished guests, including:
- Anand Mohan (Director, Horticulture Department, Gautam Buddh Nagar)
- Rohit Ghai (President, RWA Sector-33)
- Manish Gupta (Social Worker)
- Rajeshwari Tyagarajan (Founder, Tyagaraja Center & Social Activist)
- Babita (Joint Secretary, Aravali Apartments, Sector-52)

As part of the program, fruit-bearing and medicinal plants were planted. The children of Samvedna Gyan Shala enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive, which helped cultivate a sense of environmental responsibility and emotional connection with nature.
Shweta Gupta, President of Samvedna Foundation, shared the foundation’s ongoing efforts in sparrow conservation, women empowerment, and education. “Understanding our responsibility towards nature and society, Samvedna Foundation is committed to making a positive impact,” she said.
Several active members of the foundation including Mrs. Anju Kandhari, Mr. Shyam Gupta, Ms. Pooja Pal, Ms. Jayanti Jha, Mrs. Manoj Kumari, and Ms. Anjali also graced the event with their presence.
As a token of gratitude, the foundation presented handcrafted embroidered bags made by Sangini Self-Help Group women, a plant in a clay pot, and a handcrafted sparrow nest to each guest.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to Noida Authority, donors, and volunteers whose support made the initiative a success.
