Greater Noida West: With a firm resolve to protect the environment, residents of several societies in Greater Noida West, including Saviour GreenArch, Gaur City 1st Avenue, Kingswood Golf Homes and Knowledge Park-5, came together today for a large-scale tree plantation drive. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from children to senior citizens, transforming it into a true people’s movement.
Esteemed members of the Golf Homes and Kingswood Family Group, Raghvendra, Aditya Awasthi, Murari, Meertunj, Alok Shankar, Abhijeet, Rahul, Rajesh, Saurav Mishra, Harish, Divyanshu Awasthi, Deepak Chaudhary, Sahu, Saksham, Rishu, Preeti, and Ashok, participated wholeheartedly, along with several other social workers and residents.
From GreenArch Society, participants included Himanshu, Namit Ranjan, Umesh Rajan, Ankit Tyagi, Pradeep Bansal, Gaurav, and Ashok Saini. The Gaur City Green Warriors team played a pivotal role from Gaur City 1st Avenue, offering direction and drive to the campaign. From Knowledge Park-5, Arun Sarwat, Sudesh Kumar, Aniket, and others also played an active part in the plantation efforts.
Saplings of neem, amla, lemon, guava, shisham, arjun, bael, jamun, papri, and kachnar were planted, trees known not only for providing shade but also for their rich medicinal properties. These saplings will form the foundation of a cleaner, healthier, and greener future.
Trees are not just about the environment; they are a promise to future generations. Planting a tree is not just a need, it is a responsibility. We are grateful to the Greater Noida Authority for providing the saplings and supporting this cause.
