Greater Noida West: In a bid to bring health, heritage, and greenery together, Greater Noida is all set to welcome its very own Ayurveda-inspired urban park. Modelled on the lines of Noida’s popular Ved Van, the park will sprawl across 15 acres in Sector 16B of Greater Noida West.

This upcoming green space isn’t just another park—it’s envisioned as a hub of holistic well-being. From tranquil walking trails to gardens filled with medicinal plants, every feature will reflect the principles of Ayurveda and ancient Indian wellness.

What’s in Store?

As per officials from the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the park will include

  • Landscaped Ayurvedic plant zones
  • Open lawns and shaded seating areas
  • Dedicated
  • play areas for children
  • Aesthetic features like fountains and light installations
  • Paths for walking and relaxation

Not just a space for leisure, the park is designed to be educational and therapeutic, allowing visitors to learn about the medicinal value of native plants while soaking in a serene, eco-friendly environment.

Planning and Design

To get the concept rolling, GNIDA has floated a Request for Proposal (RFP), inviting design and architecture firms to submit creative plans. Selected firms will need to carry out detailed assessments, looking at soil type, land gradient, environmental factors, and how the park can attract tourism while preserving its ecological soul.

An official from the Authority stated, “We want this park to promote not just greenery but traditional Indian knowledge systems. It should be a place where health and harmony meet.

The Bigger Picture

This project comes in the wake of the success of Ved Van Park in Noida Sector 78, which transformed a garbage dump into a lush cultural retreat. Now, GNIDA is aiming to replicate that success in Greater Noida West, an area that is rapidly developing but still short on meaningful recreational infrastructure.

Once completed, the Ayurveda Park is expected to become a landmark destination for residents and visitors alike—offering a unique blend of relaxation, learning, and environmental stewardship.
