Greater Noida West: A dispute has erupted in the Ajnara Le Garden residential complex as tensions between the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) and Lotus Maintenance continue to intensify. The conflict came to the forefront during an AOA membership drive when members of the Lotus Maintenance and Security team allegedly attempted to obstruct the installation of banners, leading to a heated confrontation on-site.

Residents claim that members of the Lotus team resorted to threats and physical manhandling, further deepening the divide between the two groups. According to them, the contract of Lotus Maintenance expired nearly two years ago, yet the agency continues to operate within the society without any legal standing.

The AOA, meanwhile, asserts that its formation and functioning are completely lawful. The association is officially registered under registration number GBN/07270/2023-24, and elections were held successfully last year. The AOA accuses Lotus Maintenance of intentionally disrupting its operations to retain control over the society’s affairs.

Residents Voice Long-Standing Concerns

Residents have also expressed deep dissatisfaction over the lack of basic amenities and unresolved issues, including parking shortages. Despite paying maintenance charges through prepaid meters, they allege that essential services remain inadequate.

Furthermore, residents have submitted a formal complaint at Bisrakh Police Station, accusing Lotus Maintenance of operating illegally and obstructing AOA activities through intimidation and coercive tactics.

Calls for Administrative Action

The situation has raised serious concerns about governance in group housing societies and the enforcement of legal agreements related to facility management. Residents are now calling on local authorities and law enforcement to take swift action and ensure a lawful and resident-centric resolution.

As the conflict unfolds, all eyes are on the local administration to see how it addresses not only the legal status of Lotus Maintenance but also the broader issues surrounding resident welfare and housing society governance in Greater Noida West.
