Greater Noida: The fatal attack on a student at Noida International University (NIU) has shaken everyone. The incident took place in the university campus located in the Dankaur Kotwali area of Gautam Budh Nagar, BA second-year student Lokesh Kumar has suffered serious injuries. A case has also been registered against four students in this case.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information received, Lokesh Kumar, a resident of Kheda Buzurg village of Aligarh, was sitting in the university canteen. It is alleged that Ashu Kasana, Kapil, Ankit and two unknown students forcibly lifted him from the chair. When Lokesh protested, the accused hit him several times on the head and back with a chair. The injured Lokesh was first admitted to the university hospital. When his condition became critical, he was shifted to a big hospital in Greater Noida, where he was admitted to the ICU. According to doctors, he has suffered serious injuries to his head and spine.
Lawyer’s father filed a case
The victim’s father Devraj Singh Chauhan, who is a lawyer by profession, filed a complaint with the police. He has filed a case against five people, naming three students. Dankaur Kotwali in-charge Munendra Singh said, “A case has been registered based on the complaint. The matter is being thoroughly investigated and soon all the accused will be arrested.”
