On Sunday also, power was out in more than 15 sectors of the city. Due to lack of electricity, people had to face a lot of trouble in the humid heat.

The supply system has completely deteriorated

Sector-100 RWA General Secretary Sumer Singh Rawat said that the supply system of the sector has completely deteriorated. There is no fixed time for power to come and go. The situation is that panel boxes have been installed at many places but the cable line laid till the panel box is missing. When the concerned officials of the Electricity Corporation are talked to about this, they give evasive answers. Supply is being done with the help of bamboo sticks. People in the sector had to face power cuts even on Sunday.

All the claims of the department are baseless

AK Nigam, resident of Sector-49 Hindon Vihar, said that on Sunday, he had to face power cuts in the humid heat. He said that he has applied for increasing the load of the connection for two months. But the load of the connection has not been increased yet. NK Yadav, resident of Sector-63 Chhijarsi Colony, said that it was expected that the supply would improve after the demand for electricity decreased during the rains. But this did not happen. On Sunday, he had to face power cuts. People allege that all the claims of the department are baseless.

Statement of the officer

In this regard, the officer of the electricity department says that on Sunday, there was a power outage in more than 15 sectors due to a fault. This is why people had to face trouble. The supply has been streamlined after rectifying the fault.
