Mumbai Police trying to identity X user over a hoax ‘bomb…at Ambani’s wedding’ post |

In response to a suspected message on X (previously Twitter) mentioning “a bomb” at the wedding, the Mumbai Police increased security at the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant wedding celebrations. News portal reports state that the post—which was later shown to be a hoax—caused the authorities to move quickly to protect the well-known attendees of the wedding celebration.

Even though the post was determined to be a hoax, a senior police officer told on Sunday night that the police did not take any chances. “A shameless thought crept into my mind that if a bomb went off at Ambani’s wedding, half the world would turn upside down,” the X user @FFSFIR wrote in a post.
