Noida: On July 7, 2024, in the green belt of Sector 79, a massive tree plantation was done by the members of social welfare organizations 7X Sports City Foundation, Greno Green Foundation and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
As seen in this summer, our temperature has reached 50 degrees, there is a need to plant dense shady trees to save the coming generation from this wrath of nature. In this sequence, 51 neem, 21 Arjun and 51 Bougainvillea plants were planted by the residents. All the residents involved in the tree plantation took an oath not to use single-use plastic.
Residents like Swarjeet Singh, Dinesh Gupta, Pankaj Garg, Dharmendra Singh, Shubham, Anuj, Nikita, Gaurav Anand, Mukul Jain, Mahendra Singh, Anshika, Prachi, Namita, etc. were the leaders in organizing the tree plantation. In the program, children like Nirvi, Maysha Singh, Nisham, Om, Shvya Anand also planted trees with great enthusiasm.
Residents of Gaursports Wood, Civitech Stadia and Mahagun Mirabella also participated.
Dharmendra Singh says, “We should make maximum efforts to increase greenery. Maximum plants be planted as PM also stated recently to plant in the name of the mother.”
Sanwarjeet Singh says, “Since from June first week we started plantation drive and till date more then 200 plants has been planted. We successfully saved plants from heat waves too by timely watering them post-plantation. We will continue drives in Gautam Buddh Nagar till September.”
Dinesh Gupta says, ” We are carrying out these plantation drives every year and encouraging kids of society to participate in drive and take care of plants they planted.”
