Good News : Greater Noida to get ISBT soon

Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced to construct a huge interstate bus terminal (ISBT) at Bodaki in Greater Noida. This project will not only improve passenger facilities but is also part of a larger initiative to establish a multi-modal transport hub in UP.

Better connectivity to the passengers


According to a statement issued from the capital Lucknow, the new ISBT will be directly connected to the local bus terminal (LBT) and Noida Metro, which will provide better connectivity to the passengers.

DPR is being prepared


According to the plan, this place Bodaki is on the Delhi-Howrah Railway Line and will connect to NH-91, which will integrate railway, highway, bus and Noida metro services. The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation is engaged in preparing the DPR for this huge project spread over 358 acres. The UP government also informed that the appointment of a general consultant has also been done for survey, design, master planning and preparation of EPC documents.

There will be a lot of development in these areas too


The project also has plans of extensive development of railway infrastructure, which will include the construction of a passenger terminal, station building, platform, maintenance yard, track and staff quarters. Along with this, the Aqua Line of Noida Metro is being extended to the depot station. To improve road connectivity, a 105-meter main road and a 60-meter road connecting Bodaki to NH-91 will be built. Also, a flyover and rail-over bridge will be constructed. This project has the potential to add a new chapter to the transport and economic development of Uttar Pradesh, which will equip the state with a modern and efficient infrastructure.
