Greater Noida West: Active members of Nefowa along with the President of Nefowa are working day and night for the betterment of Greater Noida West. With this aim, they keep meeting the authority officials time to time. This week again, they met the ACEO Annpurna Garg and discussed the various problems related to Greater Noida West and submitted a memorandum.
Major problems of Greater Noida West
1- Tikona Park: Some applications have been received on the last tender. Hopefully, one will be selected this time. After that, the work will start.
2 – Water pipeline: After the elections are over, as per the previous promise, the tender has already been published. ACEO Madam confirmed that the societies which do not have pipelines should not be charged for water bills. Since the bills were generated accordingly for the societies which have received OC, the team is trying to improve this process by checking it.
3- Encroachment: After Neofwa’s complaint, the Greater Noida Authority started a drive to remove encroachments in the vicinity, but they have also received counter-complaints from various social organizations. Currently, they have stopped the process and are focusing only on traffic problems. A separate vending zone is the ultimate solution, but it is taking time.
4 – Government Hospital/Stadium/Ramlila Ground: ACEO has asked about the locations as suggestions. Currently, the Greater Noida Authority does not have the proposed land for these facilities.
5 – Street Light: ACEO has directed Anuj Anand to check street lights on the 24-meter road from Ace City to Arihant Arden and submit the report in a day.
Abhishek Kumar, President, Nefowa says, “Nefowa is continuously working for the interests of the residents of Greater Noida and is committed to contributing to the development of the area in collaboration with the Authority. It aims to protect the interests of the residents of the area and improve their lifestyle. Surely, with positive criticism and drawing the attention of the authorities towards the problems, we will succeed in making Greater Noida West a better city.”
