Ghaziabad/ Noida/ Greater Noida: November 23rd, 2023 marked the most auspicious date of the month as it was the Devuthani Ekadashi means the day of the rising of the gods. Devuthani Ekadashi is considered to be the biggest Ekadashi of the year. On this day, Lord Vishnu and all the gods wake up from 4 months of sleep and take up the responsibility of running the universe. From this day itself, auspicious functions like weddings, marriages, mundane and house warming start.
Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is called Devuthan Ekadashi, Devuthani Ekadashi and Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi. On this date, Lord Vishnu, Mother Lakshmi and Tulsi are worshiped with full rituals and the next day the marriage of Tulsi and Shaligram is solemnized.
Women adorned Tulsi and woke God by singing a song
Devuthani Ekadashi puja was organized in Sector Beta One of Greater Noida.
