Noida: DLF Mall and Pokemon Company have joined hands to hold the first-ever Pokemon Mela in Delhi NCR. It is scheduled over three weekends in November and December. Pokemon Mela will provide a fun weekend experience for people of all ages. In this unprecedented Pokemon celebration, fans will be able to meet Pikachu and enjoy participating in interactive activities.
The series of celebrations started at the DLF Mall of India
The first Pokemon mela was held in DLF Mall of India on November 17, 18 and 19 followed by DLF Avenue, Saket on December 2 and 3 and DLF Permonade, Vasant Kunj on December 9 and 10. Visitors enjoyed a variety of different attractions at each venue.
From Youtube to finally in front of eyes
The biggest attraction in the program list is Pikachu’s dance show and parade which is being performed for the general public for the first time in India. In addition to the fun experience of meeting Pikachu, people have the opportunity to take Pokémon quizzes where correct answers will earn them prizes. A special booth has also been prepared for children to watch animation videos of Pokemon and colour the simple pictures of Pokemon.

Social media fans were seen having great fun in the Pikachu mela. they were seen taking colourful pictures at the Pokemon Photo Booth and uploading them on Instagram and took part in taking part in a lucky draw in which selected participants will be eligible for gifts. For Pokémon GO fans, special PokéStops have been created in all three malls which they will be able to see in the game.
