Noida : Setting a shining example of courage and determination, Satyanarayan Prasad, a resident of Sector-122 Noida, has etched his name in history by conquering the mighty flow of the Ganga. He completed an astounding 81-kilometer swim in just 13 hours, earning a place among India’s legendary long-distance swimmers.
This remarkable feat was achieved on 31st August during the 79th Open Water National World Longest Swimming Competition, organized by the Murshidabad Swimming Association. The historic event saw the participation of several renowned swimmers from across the country, all challenging the powerful river currents with sheer grit.
Prasad’s achievement is not just a personal milestone but also a moment of pride for Noida and the entire district. The District Swimming Association, sports bodies, fellow athletes, and citizens have extended their heartfelt congratulations, saluting his indomitable spirit.
