Greater Noida West: A major controversy has erupted in 11th Avenue, Gaur City 2, over a ₹3.5 crore painting project. Despite a registered email complaint submitted to the Deputy Registrar by residents, the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) dismissed it as fake and chose to ignore it.
The AOA has now scheduled a General Residents Meeting (GRM) for Saturday, June 13, 2025, which will include the painting project on its agenda. This move has sparked outrage, as three prior General Body Meetings (GBMs) were held regarding the same issue—none of which resulted in any voting.
This upcoming GRM will be the first of its kind, open to both owners and tenants, even though the financial burden of the painting project will fall solely on the owners.
Residents have raised serious concerns, pointing out that the current AOA’s tenure ends on June 29, 2025. Instead of initiating the election process by forming an election committee, the AOA is pushing through a major expenditure—raising further suspicions among residents.
Past allegations against the AOA include harassment of residents, illegal activities, unauthorized encroachments, and unjustified charges such as extra brokerage and welfare fees. However, no concrete action or response has been taken so far.
Residents allege that AOA President Sachin Tyagi, who is also the Vice President of BJP Hapur Dehat, is using his political influence to avoid accountability and suppress complaints.
This kind of governance is damaging not only to the society but also to the reputation of the administration

The residents have appealed to the Deputy Registrar to take immediate action under Section 24 to address the matter. They are also requesting local authorities and police to ensure proper monitoring during the GRM and to hold the AOA accountable for its decisions and actions.
