The girl was reportedly seriously hurt, but later in the day, her condition stabilized.
A sizable throng attacked Shubham and Sankalita as well as people who feed stray dogs during the demonstration. They also attacked law enforcement officers.
The pair said that the enraged mob even attempted to switch off the surveillance cameras at the scene and shoved an on-duty constable.

“One of them tried to snatch my wife’s phone while she was filming the incident and ended up hurting her,” Shubham stated.
He continued by saying that the friends he brought to support the marriage were treated rudely. The crowd is seen removing their t-shirts in the viral videos.

The crowd can be seen hurling insults at the pair and brandishing signs in a video that People for Animals (PFA) India has uploaded.
“A violent mob at Pan Oasis, Sector 70 Noida, defied the law as it attacked a young couple who feed & care for community dogs,” PFA stated while releasing the video. Even the police were beaten and shoved around. It is requested that the rioters be dealt with immediately.

PFA went on to say that the caregivers who had given the dogs vaccinations and sterilizations had been verbally and physically mistreated and had even received threats of murder.

Another video that went viral on X shows the administrative staff telling the security officers, who include tower, gate, basement, and ground floor guards, to keep all dogs off the society’s property and to not allow any stray dogs to enter. According to the staff, a guard will be fired if they are observed sitting and a dog is discovered nearby.

There has reportedly been an official complaint submitted, but no formal complaint has yet to be filed.
