Sunny Deol refuses to comment on cheating allegations, his lawyer to address claims in press conference tomorrow – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News

Sourav Gupta, a producer, has filed a case at the Juhu police station accusing actor Sunny Deol of defrauding and forging documents. Sunny Deol was signed by builder-producer Sourav Gupta for a movie in 2016, and the actor reportedly received a sizeable payment from the producer, along with payment for other technicians that worked on the movie. Although Sunny Deol has refrained from commenting, his attorney will address the accusations made against him at a press conference tomorrow.

“My client is a well-known builder who decided to enter the entertainment industry, met some people and decided to produce a film with Sunny Deol, and the actor agreed to work with the team, and a signing amount of Rs 1 crore was paid to him which eventually increased to about 5cr,” producer Ashok Saraogi said in an interview with ETimes about the case.

According to Ashok Saraogi, Sunny Deol once informed them that the plot was stale and that he couldn’t recall giving the producer the dates for the film. He insisted that they make a new film with a different theme, and on three separate occasions, more money was provided.

After the success of Gadar 2, Saraogi said that Sunny wants the producer to boost his pay. He also pitched a subject on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir where he wanted to play a lawyer.
According to Saraogi, Sunny Deol was called in by the Juhu police approximately ten days ago, but he gave an explanation, claiming to be out of town.

According to producer Sourav Gupta, Sunny Deol was first granted a signing fee of Rs 1 crore. However, he later requested an additional Rs 1 crore, vanished once more, and stopped returning their calls. He claimed, “Sunny gave reasons why he couldn’t make the movie, and in the interim he directed his son Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and became an MP while working on movies like Poster Boys and Bhaiyyaji Superhit.”

Gupta went on to say that Sunny’s requests to switch writers and directors were complied with each occasion. Sunny Deol had another concept in 2023. This time, it was based on the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi case, and he wanted to play the lawyer in it. Additionally, Gupta says that just before his son’s wedding, Deol sought for money, and he handed the celebrity 50 lakhs.
