Phillies’ Bryce Harper Does Soccer Slide After Tying Home Run Against Mets In London

LONDON: If Londoners didn’t recognize Bryce Harper before, they will now.

In the first game of a two-game series at London Stadium on Saturday, the Phillies slugger scored a home run in right field during the fourth inning against the New York Mets bullpen. After that, he performed a soccer slide by the Philadelphia bench.

Harper then said, “I love soccer!” while wearing a microphone for the game’s television broadcast. I adore soccer!” as she gave her teammates a high five in the dugout following the draw. Against Sean Manaea, he hit his 15th home run of the year to tie the game at one run per inning.

Harper expressed gratitude on Friday for being undetected while strolling through London.
He remarked, “I’ve actually enjoyed people not really realizing who I am.”
The games are being held at the West Ham Premier League stadium, which hosted the 2012 Olympic track and field competition.
