Greater Noida West: The residents of Saya Zion, Gaur City-1 are upset with the filth being spread by Mithaas Restaurant, protested against the restaurant. On protest of the residents, the restaurant management assured to take appropriate measures.
‘Restaurant staff throw food in drains’
Mithaas Restaurant is located in the market area of Saya Zion Society, Gaur City-1. The restaurant staff throws leftovers and waste food in the drains. Due to this, the drains of the society get clogged every second or third day. Due to the blockage of drains, drain water and garbage start spreading in basement-1 and basement-2 of the society. The smell of rotting food is also disturbing.
Jordan, Secretary, Saya Zion says, “The responsibility of the maintenance of the society lies with the builder. On the complaint of drain blockage by the restaurant staff, the maintenance team used to clean the drain quietly. But whenever the cleaning was done, water used to remain spread in basement-1 and basement-2.
Due to repeated blockage of drains and the residents facing problems, the AOA members and residents protested against the restaurant.”
Jordan continues, “When the AOA protested, builder representative Pradeep and estate manager Vimal asked the restaurant management for a reply on the complaint of throwing food in the drain, the restaurant management has assured to put a net on the drain and take other appropriate measures soon.”
AOA President Rajesh Dhuria, AOA Vice President Pawan Kumar, AOA Secretary Jordan Chhabra, AOA members Sunil Pal, Rakesh Kumar, Ankur Deol, Gaurav Gupta and Ashok participated in the protest against the restaurant.
