Shri Radha Sky Garden: After frequent complaints, the swimming pool was inspected, Officials in angry mode

Greater Noida West: Anita Nagar, Deputy Sports Officer inspected the society after receiving complaints of children falling ill after bathing in the swimming pool at Shri Radha Sky Garden Society in Greater Noida West. During the inspection, many irregularities were found, on the maintenance agency was severely reprimanded and instructed to rectify the deficiencies within two days.

Pool water was found extremely dirty

On the complaint of residents, Anita Nagar, Deputy Sports Officer arrived to inspect the society’s pool. During the inspection, the water of both children’s and adults’ pools was found to be extremely dirty. During the inspection of the filter room, none of the pool filters were working properly. The water accumulated in the fountain area was stinking. The lifeguards deployed in the swimming pool area were not found trained, and none had a YMCA certificate. The lifeguards also did not have any uniforms. No one was found with a life-saving jacket. No safety equipment was found in the pool. During inspection, the residents present also showed the Deputy Sports Officer a video of stray dogs swimming in the swimming pool.

The pool will be made operational within two days

Fearing that the swimming pool might be closed due to the presence of several deficiencies, the residents requested that the pool be directed to the maintenance agency to rectify the deficiencies instead of closing it. The Deputy Sports Officer assured the residents that the pool would be put in order within the next two days. All deficiencies will be removed by carrying out a cleaning campaign immediately and safety equipment will also be installed. The pool will be made operational within two days.
