Greater Noida West: Greater Noida West, say it is happening or say it is an over-hyped city of Uttar Pradesh as the reels on Instagram show. Reality is ironically different. The beauty and the tallest skyscrapers are not enough for survival in this concrete jungle. Common residents have to cry each day for their basic right to live. For this, the residents of Gaur City 2, residents of Sector 16C and Sector 3, took the help of NEFOWA and marched to the Greater Noida Authority’s office in Techzone 4, Greater Noida West. They met Annpurna Garg, ACEO and submitted the memorandum in anticipation of the solution to those problems.
There is acute water shortage, No Gangajal supply yet
There is a major issue going on in Grenowest-an acute shortage of water. Residents have to survive with less water or no water at all. There are many societies where there is a lack of water pipelines. This issue was reported many times but things went unheard.
Anupama Garg, ACEO, GreNo Authority says, ” I assure you that the tender process has been started again, after which pipelines will be laid under the loop line. action will be taken after following the code of conduct.” She also ordered to check the bills of those societies where the bills are sent by the authorities despite not having a water connection.
Tikona Park construction update
The Tikona park in Techzone4 lies between the Spring Meadows and Nirala Estate. This park was in a vulnerable state 2 years ago, but with the continuous efforts of active citizens of both societies and credible journalists, the issue was raised and with the help of the Greater Noida Authority, the park was cleaned at regular intervals. There were dangerous snakes and the place was used as a dump yard by both societies. Later, the park was cleaned and even the festivals were celebrated there. But again, the park is in deplorable condition.
The Nefowa members informed the ACEO. She has assured that the Tikona Park beautification work will start now, as the elections are over, and the work will be done now.
Encroachment on the streets
The residents of Gaur Saundaryam are upset with the increasing encroachment opposite to their society. Enchrochers sell teddy bears, national flags, and swimming pools by sitting on the pavements of Greater Noida West. At night, they drink and make things absurd for the common man. Some people live in tents and have slowly built their mud houses behind the tents. They can be seen washing clothes, and taking baths on the street anytime from the balconies. Residents have raised their voices many times but none ever heard.
When the issue was reported that encroachment was increasing day by day and was leading to increased traffic bottlenecks, ACEO assured that the road would be cleared soon and the anti-encroachment drive would begin soon so that the vendors find some other allotted place rather than disturbing the city.
‘Sector 3 is the most neglected sector’
The residents of Sector 3 Greater Noida West are the most upset residents of this place. This is the sector with big villas and there is no security, no boundaries no entry-exit gates. This is the place with the maximum thefts. Every alternate day CCTV footage goes viral of this place showing malicious people roaming or trying to indulge in theft. The roads are not proper, drains are overflowing and choked with filth and dirt, green belts are not maintained, parks are in poor condition and a few more to mention. Residents were also informed that the entry gates for Block C and Block D are improper.
After hearing about these problems, ACEO said that all these issues would be resolved one by one
