DKS’s ‘Spell Check’ on Deve Gowda Family: Karnataka Deputy CM Says Rivals Using Black Magic from Kerala to Destabilise Congress Govt

On Thursday, adversaries of Karnataka deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar made a stunning allegation, claiming that black magic was being used by Kerala tantriks, or occultists, against him and chief minister Siddaramaiah. He claimed that in order to topple the Congress government in Karnataka, tantriks were being used to perform “Shatru Bairavi Yaaga” at a remote area close to the Raja Rajeshwari temple in Kerala.

“They are doing the “Raja Kantaka” and “Marana Mohana Sthambana” yaaga with tantras. We know all the information on the individuals behind it because to those who were aware of the black magic practices,” he claimed.

The temporary chief minister for Karnataka, a devout follower who is always spotted attending temples and doing rituals, didn’t stop there. “We have information that pancha bali – 21 red goats, 3 buffaloes, 21 black sheep, and 5 pigs – is being carried out for the black magic,” he stated, adding that “these yaagas are being conducted through Aghoris.”

There is a subliminal allusion to HD Kumaraswamy and his family in these accusations. In response to specific questions regarding who was responsible and if he made any references to the Deve Gowda family, which includes Revanna, DK Shivakumar stated, “You have to look into this without trying to take the word out of my mouth.”

Ever since the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal made news, DK Shivakumar and HD Kumaraswamy have been at odds. HD Kumaraswamy has charged DKS with planning the offensive video release in order to politically destroy the Deve Gowda clan.

“We are aware of who is completing it. Give it to them. I’ll be safe with the force. Shivakumar declared, “I don’t believe in black magic; I only believe in God.”

The sons of HD Deve Gowda, HD Revanna and HD Kumaraswamy, and other members of his family have frequently been charged with using occult methods to cast evil spells on their rivals. During the height of the power struggle between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (Secular) in 2007, the Gowda family was accused by then-chief minister BS Yediyurappa of using black magic to remove him from office.

Kumarswamy’s team presented footage depicting HDK and his family having fun on a boat ride at a resort in the Kabini backwaters of Karnataka, just hours after DK Shivakumar made these accusations.
