CGBSE 2024 Class 10th and 12th exam registration begins on cgbse.nic.in



CGBSE Registration 2024: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur, has started the registration process for the CGBSE Class 10th and 12th exams 2024. This process began on October 10, 2023, and is open to all eligible candidates.
To register for these board exams in Chhattisgarh, interested and eligible students need to visit the official website at cgbse.nic.in. The last date to apply for the Chhattisgarh board exams in 2024 is October 31, 2023. However, there is an option to submit applications with a late fee until November 30.

The Board has shared the Class 10 and 12 syllabi on their official website. They set the syllabus, exam pattern, and question papers for these board exams. Each year, the Chhattisgarh Board conducts the Class 10th and 12th board exams in March. These exams are taken by more than 8 lakh candidates.
The Chhattisgarh Board is planning to conduct the CG 10th and 12th exams for 2024 in March 2024. The official schedule, or CG Board 10th and 12th timetables for 2024, will be released in December 2023. The CGBSE hall tickets for Classes 10 and 12 will be available for download in February 2024.
The results for the CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be published in May 2024. You can check these results on the official website of CGBSE at cgbse.nic.in and results.cgbse.nic.in. To access your results, you will need to provide your roll number. In the previous year, the CGBSE 10th result was announced on May 10.
The board will also hold supplementary exams in June for those who did not pass the regular board exams.
The CGBSE exam pattern includes both objective and subjective questions. In the Class 10 exams, the total marks are 100, with 75 marks assigned for written exams and 25 for internal assessment. The exam duration for both Class 10 and Class 12 is 3 hours. You can get a better understanding of the exam pattern by reviewing sample papers and the previous year’s question papers provided by the board.
In 2023, a total of 3,37,569 candidates registered for the High School Certificate Examination organized by CGBSE. Of these, 3,30,681 candidates appeared for the examination, including 1,52,891 boys and 1,77,790 girls, and the results of 3,30,055 candidates were declared.
Similarly, there were 3,28,121 candidates registered for the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination. Out of these, 3,23,625 candidates appeared for the exam, including 1,43,919 boys and 1,79,706 girls, and the results of 3,23,266 candidates were announced.
In 2022, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 74.23 per cent, while the pass percentage for Class 12 was 79.30 per cent. In 2021, approximately 4,67,261 students took the board exams, and the overall pass percentage for students was recorded as 100 per cent.
CGBSE commenced its operations in 2001 and began conducting its own exams independently from 2002.

Remember to adhere to the specified registration dates, and if you miss the regular deadline, you can still apply during the late submission period, though it may incur an additional fee.
