Greater Noida West: The AOA organized a special program for environmental awareness on June 9, 2024, Sunday, in the Arihant Arden Society located in Greater Noida West. The speciality of the awareness program organized by the AOA was that all programs were conducted by children.
Residents took active participation
The residents of the society participated enthusiastically in the program. The program started with a children’s marathon race at 7 am. 30-35 children of the society toured the entire society with slogans, making the residents aware of cleanliness. All the children were winners in the children’s race. All the children were given certificates by the AOA.
Street plays were organised
In the second phase of the program, street plays and role plays were organized from 10 am to increase awareness about our environment. Street plays and role plays were also organized by the children. Through street plays and role plays, children gave presentations on separating wet and dry waste, reducing the use of polythene, proper disposal of sanitary napkins and their better alternatives and different types of waste management.
Residents took a pledge to save the environment
At the end of the program, all the residents of the society took a pledge to be aware of the environment, to dispose off waste properly and to strictly follow the rules of cleanliness. The outline of the entire program was prepared by Sneha Shrivastava, Pooja Chaturvedi and Payal Bhatnagar. The brand ambassador of this program is Satyam Shrivastava. AOA President Lokesh Tyagi, AOA Secretary Nishith Chaturvedi, AOA Vice President Dhirendra Singh and Devika Chhibber made remarkable contributions in making the program a success .
