Noida: To save environment and make Noida green, a massive tree plantation program was organized in the green belt of Sector 62, C- Block on Monday, August 05, 2024. In this drive, more than 250 children of Father Agnel Secondary School, Sector 62, and their teachers participated with the senior Citizens Group of Sector 62.
The importance of tree plantation was also explained
Before the program, school children were explained the importance of saving our environment and tree plantation through a beautiful drama, and the importance of trees in our lives was explained. More than 250 trees of different species were planted in the program.
Everyone contributed their efforts and manpower to this drive
Along with the Principal of Sector 62, Father Agnel Secondary School, Alexander and school teachers, R.K. Upreti, Laxman Singh Bhati, S.K. Gupta, Vinod Kondal, Krishna Kumar, Deepak Mathur, Ram Narayan, Subhash Chandra, a large number of senior citizens were present in this program.
Garden department of the authority also supported
The tree plantation program for environmental protection has been going on in Sector 62, C Block for a long time, and a large number of trees were planted in the “C” Block during this period. In this, the RWA of Sector 62 has been getting a lot of support from the garden department of the authority.
